Increasingly we see how important sustainability and reusability is to many of our customers, and they have naturally become an integral part of business conversations over the last decade. For HQ Pack it is at the heart of what we do. Understanding the role different materials can play in providing protection and designing with reuse in mind.

Return, repair and reuse

One of the simplest ways HQ Pack supports customers is by returning used packages to our facilities for cleaning, repair and recertification so they can be reused numerous times. Not only does this reduce the amount of natural resources required but it is also more cost-effective in the long term. And where material cannot be reused, HQ Pack is determined to reclaim and recycle.

Optimized protection with minimal impact

When designing a high-end packaging solution HQ Pack looks at the different packaging and transportation requirements to see how we can maximize protection while minimizing the use of virgin material. That can be as simple as using recycled material whenever it is possible. Or where virgin material is required, ensuring it is designed and manufactured in such a way that it can be easily reused. Alternatively it can mean rather than moulding or welding components to a pallet, including them as screw mounted options increasing flexibility as well as reuse.

Supporting our customers CSR goals

As major multinationals many of them need to report how they are meeting ever tougher goals and regulations. Packaging is one area where gains can be found, and HQ Pack works closely with many of our customer to see exactly how we can support them. In fact, HQ Pack have been at the forefront of this trend for many years, incorporating ever more reusable and recyclable concepts into our packaging solutions.
