In this role, with a strong focus on the German market, you are the contact person for your customer portfolio. Our customers expect a sparring partner, an advisor and we expect optimal customer satisfaction and further development of these existing accounts.

You are responsible for your own customer portfolio that consists of about 60 customers (national and international).

There are about 600 different types of packaging that all have their own requirements and are increasingly being reused. This requires creative solutions, entrepreneurship and a good understanding of the entire supply chain. You must be able to secure things well, arrange things quickly and professionalize and optimize processes. You work closely with the existing customers, where you are approximately 40% of your time. In addition, your activities as an Account Manager Service Center include:

  • You are budget responsible;
  • You are the contact person for everything that has to do with the flow of (return) packaging;
  • You make price agreements independently;
  • You make quotations independently.

You will be working independently a lot but will also be part of the existing sales team so you will have colleagues to brainstorm with. You work closely with your colleagues in the service center / logistics. You communicate easily and well at various levels both internally and externally, from the supply chain manager of a global company to the employee on the loading dock.

What are our requirements?

To be successful in the role of Accountmanager Service Center you have the following requirements:

  • HBO thinking and working level;
  • Affinity with technology and/or working in a production/logistics environment is an advantage;
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in a similar position;
  • Experience with customer management / account management and quoting;
  • Good command of the MS Office;
  • Experience with ERP systems is desirable;
  • Good command of Dutch and English is a requirement, good command of German is an advantage.
